October 23rd is the release date...

...for Redemption Song, Book #4 in the Midnight, New Orleans Style collection.

When five college friends reunite, one night changes their lives forever.

Halloween in New Orleans.  Rémy Lafitte has paid a charlatan to enact a Voodoo ceremony in the cemetery. The ritual reanimates Niko Valdés, a French Quarter tutor who was damned to Everlost for murdering his sister’s rapist.
Mild-mannered stockbroker Heidi Purdue stumbles upon Niko and Rémy in a compromising position.  They are interrupted by a demon on horseback who beheads the charlatan before giving the trio a pentalpha puzzle to solve.
Curvy Heidi knows that heartthrob Rémy would never fall for her, but she falls for the undead tutor.  Rémy, jealous of the other two’s closeness, agrees to an equitable ménage, opening up to a male lover.
The centuries-long battle against primordial evil leads them to a temple, where they find Solomon’s ring.  They go past the portal of Hellmouth to redeem themselves, but the real puzzle is how to fulfill the prophecy that they are intertwined inexorably—now and forever.

Midnight, New Orleans Style has the Green Light!

We can now announce the top secret project we've been hard at work on since November.  I've collaborated with the great Marla Monroe, Alicia White, Corinne Davies, and Tara Rose to bring you a new collection due out around Halloween.  We thought Midnight, New Orleans Style would be a jazzy and eye-catching series title.  We hope you agree!

Since we just got the green light, we have little in the way of promo, so I'll just share the blurb I wrote for my contribution.  Mine will be the 4th book titled Redemption Song.

Halloween in New Orleans.  Rémy Lafitte has paid a charlatan to enact a Voodoo ceremony in the cemetery.  He wants to discover where his pirate ancestor Jean buried his gold bars.  The ritual accidentally reanimates Niko Valdés, a long-dead French Quarter tutor who was damned to Everlost for murdering his sister’s rapist.

Mild-mannered stockbroker Heidi Purdue and her four university friends take a streetcar to the cemetery.  Heidi stumbles upon Niko and Rémy in a compromising position.  They are interrupted by a demon on horseback, Baal-Berith, who beheads the charlatan before giving them a pentalpha puzzle to solve.

The trio plots their crusade to permanently spring Niko from Everlost where his sister is still trapped.  The plain and curvy Heidi knows that heartthrob Rémy would never fall for her, but she could do worse than an undead tutor.  Rémy, jealous of the two’s closeness, agrees to an equitable ménage, opening up to a male lover—a revitalized one, at that.

The centuries-long battle against primordial evil leads them to a Shriners Temple, where they find Solomon’s ring with a surprising twist.  It takes them past the portal of Hellmouth to redeem themselves, but the real puzzle is how to fulfill the prophecy that they are intertwined inexorably—now and forever.
