Having a Siren-themed Shindig...
...over on Facebook! That's right, I invited some of my collaborators on the MIDNIGHT, NEW ORLEANS STYLE series to do a takeover party on November 25th, as well as some other Sirenistas who have recent releases.
We'll be playing games, holding contests, and giving away a boatload of swag, so stop on in!

First Teaser Snippet!
Remy has been witnessing a Santeria ceremony in a graveyard on the night before Halloween in New Orleans. He's so mesmerized, he doesn't notice he's being sucked on by, well, an UNDEAD fellow. Nico didn't ask to be resurrected but the voodoo witch accidentally set off a chain of events that will not become undone until everyone involved asks for, and received, REDEMPTION.

Cover Reveal Time for REDEMPTION SONG!
OK, it's that time...COVER REVEAL TIME! The other four gals will have similar themed covers, and I'll post them all together once they receive theirs. Mine was one of the first to be finalized. Here it is in all its glory. Originally, Les Byerly had my guy Niko Valdés in an old timey outfit. I loved it, but didn't want to confuse anyone that it was an historical when it's a contemporary. So I had Les remove poor Niko's clothes. Oh hell, let's just show you the before and after.
Better, huh? The house in the background was too cheerful and the font wasn't gothic and gritty enough. I love the tagline, Guilt holds you prisoner. Redemption sets you free. But it looked too cluttery. Much better now, don't you think?

October 23rd is the release date...
...for Redemption Song, Book #4 in the Midnight, New Orleans Style collection.
When five college friends reunite, one night changes their lives
forever.
Halloween in New Orleans. Rémy Lafitte has paid a charlatan to enact a Voodoo ceremony in the cemetery. The ritual reanimates Niko Valdés, a French Quarter tutor who was damned to Everlost for murdering his sister’s rapist.
Halloween in New Orleans. Rémy Lafitte has paid a charlatan to enact a Voodoo ceremony in the cemetery. The ritual reanimates Niko Valdés, a French Quarter tutor who was damned to Everlost for murdering his sister’s rapist.
Mild-mannered stockbroker Heidi Purdue stumbles upon Niko and
Rémy in a compromising position. They
are interrupted by a demon on horseback who beheads the charlatan before giving
the trio a pentalpha puzzle to solve.
Curvy Heidi knows that heartthrob Rémy would never fall for her,
but she falls for the undead tutor.
Rémy, jealous of the other two’s closeness, agrees to an equitable ménage,
opening up to a male lover.
The centuries-long battle against primordial evil leads them to
a temple, where they find Solomon’s ring.
They go past the portal of Hellmouth to redeem themselves, but the real
puzzle is how to fulfill the prophecy that they are intertwined inexorably—now
and forever.
